air raid fiter question - using stock bottom box

wondering if i keep my bottom part of my factory box ( already did the 4" pvc pipe mod ) and replace the stock top piece from the kit i saw that airraid sells if it would be helping me with more power and louder turbo whistle ? it basically goes on top of you stock box and it has a round air filter and it seals up to the hood with a rubber strip, let me know what you think people

How Much More Whistle ? As Much As I Don't Like The Top Of The Stock Box , Atleast It Keeps All Hot Air Out - If I Put On Your Setup It'll Onlt Keep 90% Of The Hot Air Out - What To Do ?
