Hey guys!Ive been reading alot about the scotty and afe intakes but not to much about the air raid. I used to run one in my gasser and was pleased. Any pros or cons?

The AFE Pro-Guard 7 is my choice. Just got mine delivered UPS today, and it will be installed Thursday night or Friday. I chose the "7" for the better filtration, too. I originally considered the AirRaid, but went with AFE instead.

I chose the Airaid because I was told by someone that had tried both the Airaid flowed better. I don't know about filtration, but

I would think both filter better than stock, and that is good enough for me.

I didn't think that changing the filter was going to give any noticable power gain, I installed it for economy and egt's, but IMHO it did make the truck slightly more responsive, an unexpected suprise.

I would think that they all are fairly close, heck lots of guys have even made their own!

Someone out there should know the filtration microns/cfm of each unit.

PS. The Airaid replaced the top of the stock airbox to form a heat sheild. Not sure of the others.

I'm not familiar with the Air Raid but for comparison the stock filter should catch more particles and to a smaller size than K&N.
