To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

I don't care if they put an M-B diesel in the RAM

Another thing to consider regarding the Knoedler seats would be width of the seat cushion especially if one wants to retain the Dodge console. On Ozy's truck there was room to run your hand down between the console and passenger seat to operate the air controls. Nobody I know of makes a seat with the controls on the right. That could be an issue with a wider seat...

The Knoedler seat bottoms are 20.5 inches. Really the same as the stock Dodge seats. I will have to check but I think the Knoedler seats have the controls on the right for the passenger seat. Does the National seats have some sort of dampening for the up and down air ride? I remember seeing small shock absorbers on the air seats in the truck tractors seats when I worked at UPS.

The base kit contains the suspension and Dodge specific mount brackets that bolt to the floor. Then the seat bolts to the top of it.

SK-1510-01 is the driver's side, SK-1510-02 is the passenger side. The only difference between the two is the seat belt attaching bracket provided.

The SK-1510-03 console bracket kit allows the factory console to be retained. Those brackets attach to the console and then to the suspension / dodge specific floor brackets..

You'll see what I mean when I get the pictures on here.

I haven't forgotten you guys. Had to be up North but will be back at the mother ship tomorrow. Will try for seat base pictures then.

Sorry for the confusion Wayne.

Seats are for me. Ordered before the trip but they arrived at work 2 days after we headed out. Now struggling to get time for the install plus National still has not sent my console bracket kit...

Oh that's cool! I'd love to take the plunge. I was thinking you got to enjoy them on that trip.
Oh well, I guess you'll have to go on another one.

We will....Towing the Can Am and trailer to Mount Washington to join the group of ATV's going up the Auto Road at the end of June...Two trips to New Brunswick in July and then hoping for at least one trip to PEI this summer as well...that should be mileage enough to tell if we like them or not.....:D

Ok, it looks like I have a solid install date. I will have the truck at the shop tomorrow and will be putting them in.

Everything but the console. National Seating is making me a little crazy with their shipping mistake. Going to contact the rep Monday and have him light somebody up out there.

I will start a new thread for the install and put the link here.

Excellent and thanks. I just pm'd our hi range bucket truck which is a 08 Sterling Acterra, and yup it has a lo back National seat. It's great and comfy.

Very much interested in following this. While it is going to be awhile before I can do this, it will happen before the wife retires and we hit the road in earnest. With my back problems seating is a critical deal.

I just received my air seats. Ordered gray/silver came black!

I have measured things and don't see how you can reach controls with console in. National says they have never heard of this. They don't make a passenger seat with the controls on the right, go figure, 1" clearance between seat and console, doesn't work. All their instructions are for 2003-2005, not my 07.

Let me know if yours works.

Did they ship the wrong number seats or are they mis-packed??? Did you pick the part number???

As far as the console I don't know yet as I still have not received my console mounting brackets. I think you can slide each seat suspension on the floor brackets away from the console before tightening them down. The holes are slotted. You might gain another inch ....

The numbers on both boxes and the seats are the same. There is no difference between drivers and passenger seats. Just the wrong color.

I ordered on line, a drivers seat with all the goodies, console bracket kit, and a passenger seat. Talked to them on the phone, to make sure they would fit 2007.

I'll check the slots to see if it makes enough room.

thanks, keep me posted on your project.

Does the seat part number end in "51"??? That is the Gray two tone leather upholstery. That's why I'm wondering if you ordered the wrong part number suffix or if they screwed up and shipped you the wrong color seats.

As far as the room for the passengers hand the only example I have seen was on Ozy's 2005 truck, Steffi had enough room to get her hand down in there.

I'm running around without a console for now until the stupid bracket kit gets here...
