Air Ride Seats

I talked to Mike Botti and my total for two seats, heat kits, air ride suspensions and bracket kit for the center console: $2060. 00

Remember, I have on-board air so I didn't need the compressor kit. I don't know the price on that.
Shipping depends on where you're at. Mine is going UPS ground to Tacoma and then on a boat from there. Costing me about $500 or so for that.
Sounds like $2500 is alot for a hope at ride/comfort, but the way I see it is that it's an investment into our ride. I found a thread yesterday (after I posted ofcourse) where a guy didn't like the lack of lateral movement and that his seat is in his basement waiting for a dump run. Too bad I don't live close to him!
I shouldn't second guess, but I think we all do to a certain extent when it comes to parting with hard earned money. I'm just doing my part in supporting our econony .

Yeah, it's been a while since I did this upgrade and since then, I've sold the truck. But, as usual, we all have opinions and here is mine: The air ride was okay, but if I were to do it again, I'd just find some good quality seats and fabricate my own mount system for installation. You can pick any brand you want, but I'd get one that I've already sat in and tried out. What I found was that the air ride was a bit much, meaning that the suspension and it didn't seem to work as good together the longer that I drove the truck. It seemed as they were a good combo in the beginning, but not so much after a couple of years.

With that said, I put the same style National seats in my 1973 F250 Cummins truck but didn't put the air ride suspension parts in; just made the mounts and installed the seats. I actually like the ride better than the Dodge (believe it or not because the Ford is a spring suspended D60 front end) because it's not so "bouncy".

It all comes down to preference and I think, like I said before, one would be better pleased with just good quality seats minus the air ride.
