So, who has the air ride technologies 4-link air suspension for the rear? Is it strong enough? I heard that you can still maintain the stock ride height. $1600 sure beats keldermans $4000, but I'm wondering about the quality and durability. Air ride tech states that it supports the same gvw. I would definitely have to add a height control valve and dump. Any comments would be appreciated.

Wondering the same here. Their website is a little deceiving when they talk about lowering the truck, says nothing bout keeping the factory ride height. They also have front air bags to replace the coil springs for around 500 or so.

I have a car with all thier stuff on it, upper and lower A arms in the front, they call them Strong Arms and upper and lower control arms in the back. I have Shockwaves in the front and bags in the rear with thier shocks. Nice high quality stuff.

Cool. There stuff looks pretty good and I'm sure they have a reputation to live up to. I called ART up and they said it would lower my truck 4-6 inches! I saw the Trucks show on TV when they did a dodge dually and it didn't look like it lowered it that much. I sure wish I could find someone who has it on there truck so I could take a look at it. The guy I talked to at ART just didn't seem that knowledgable.

I have their full kit on my Ferd Dually. Great stuff, everything fits and works as advertised. I have ~ 8" of up and down travel in the rear. You can keep it at the factory ride heigth also.

The way I did mine was-

First I figured out how much air I needed in the bags to get the comfort level I was looking for, say 20psi.

Once you figure this out, put the bags at this setting, (20psi), then measure where you want the truck to sit and build a spacer to put under the bag to raise the truck to that level.

Pretty easy, but takes some time. Let me know if you have any other questions.

That's the reason I recommend the Kelderman. Don't even think about the "heavy enough" part. If you're going to drive your truck like a car, they'll be OK. If you use it like a truck, don't take a chance.

But $4,000? I can get you one for at least $1,000 less than that. You install? Compressor and tank will be $615 more.

Not quite sure what you are quoting here.

I believe the bags I have in mine are 5000lb each. I put my Rhino in the truck bed and pull a 12k lb trailer, I thought that was a what a "truck" does. The guy I got my info from before I bought mine tows a 3 car trailer for a living and he loves them, no problems in over two years of constant towing.

I guess if you are pulling a skip loader or something of that nature you may want higher rated bags, but other than that I wouldn't see any problem using it as a "truck" with this system.

My son did the front and rear on his F-150,the job was done by a shop that was an official installing dealer. There were quite a few fit issues and at least one of the brackets has been welded up that had broken. Not as nice as it should have been for the money. He also has never carried any thing in his "truck".

I bought a Firestone air bag from them. Very easily to deal with. I was going to make a 2nd gen air ride but bought a 3rd gen and won't be putting air ride on it for a while. I have a 3500# capacity bag for sale, never mounted/installed. PM me for price and details.
