Any of you guys out there know anything about the Kelderman air ride 4 link air bags for our trucks. Pro's and con's, experiences to make it better ect...

Thanks,

WD

What I know is that it requires you to remove your trailer hitch and use the one built into their system. That's why it won't work for me... I use the Torklift Superhitch because of my Lance camper.

That's a shame too because I've heard the Kelderman setup is superior to (and cheaper than) Fleetco's setup.

There's a rumor that Airlift is working on a full air suspension, but no telling when it'll become available.

Kelderman makes 2 air-ride systems, one is the style like Rob G described, it utilizes your rear springs in a two-stage set-up, the other is a 4-link with bags like anyother 4-link style suspension, but with air-bags other than coils. The 4-link system appears to be a nice set-up, but pricey, 2 1/2 times the cost of the air-asist (the first one described). Try they're website for more info, this has been asked here before without much response. www.keldermanmfg.com

Yes, I saw the second one that replaces both the coil springs in the front and the leafs in the back. That is the 4 link set up. This is the one that interests me the most.

I have sent for pricing on both Kelderman setups. I am interested in a smoother ride. I started a thread a while back about this and have continued to research it. Some of it is in the air seat thread. Ricky T has the Fleetco air ride in the rear which is a swing arm rather than 4 point swing like Kelderman. I have also been looking at Mor/Rydes which had one favorable response from a user. It is a rubber buggy baby bumper that the rear spring attaches to which sweetens the empty ride. George
