I saw the end of the horse power tv show where they installed a full air suspencion system on a full size pick-up 1-ton. Has anyone done this? If so what kind, and how do you like it? I run empty/ minimal load most of the time but when loaded I am right at the 20,000# GCVWR limit.

Thanks for any info,

Mike Schevey

Go buy the latest "Four Wheeler" magazine, there is a write up in there about converting your truck to an air suspension, they converted a Dodge over, looks promising.

I would love to do it, You would have a great ride on the street for daily drivin, and can stiffen it up for towing,,,

the latest issue of Four Wheeler has a picture of a Red Yukon, just so you know you have the right one...

I will doing a complete air bag system on my current project truck.

the use of air ride is infinetly adjustable. and for those like me, who plan to lift the truck, it makes it nice to load and unload. if you incorporate purge valves. they allow it the drop 4-5" when released. mine will be key activated when you shut off and start up the truck. with manual override switches.

I will getting started soon and the front air ride will be one of the first few things i do. I cant do the back until i know how much frame i will have left behind the shackles.

I'll keep you all posted.
