Ok here is what I'm looking to do. Air Suspension seats. The reason, back in high school I broke my back, everything is ok now but the 100 mi rounder to work, the conditions or the local roads along with the HD suspension of my new truck probably won't make for the smoothest ride. Reason two: why not! A 50 gal transferflow fuel tank/toolbox combo will help somewhat but not nearly as much as an air seat would. So here is what I know.
I've spoken with the guys over a industrial seats about the availably of the air ride seats for the 3rd Gens and the news wasn't good, last they heard they were working on a product development for the 2nd Gens and THEN start development on the 3rds. this is longer than I want to wait. I was thinking of getting the suspension for the GMC TopKicks & Chevy Kodiak and modifying it to fit my application. As far as an OBA system air horns and 2. 5 gal. tank are on orders as soon as the new rig gets in. Any thoughts of the feasability or other ideas on how to fabricate a suspension seat are much appreciated.
If I can’t reuse the factory drivers seat, then I will also replace the passage side. The interior is the Sutton grey vinyl so getting a match close shouldn't be to hard.
Thanks,
