More Air-----At what Horsepower?

Presently I have a K&N, stock box with rubber boot removed. How much HP is required before a bigger and better system is needed?

I'm at about 6000' and thinking when I put in my Mach2's I may need more air to run them.

What do you think? What do you recommend?

When my filter minder was getting pulled half way down with a clean K&N (stock replacement) in it I knew it was time for more air. I'm happy with my AFE Mega Canon, lotsa air but also lotsa turbo whine :D

Filter is a good start, exhaust would be the next, then turbo upgrades.

Hi,

I have gauges, K&N, 4" exhaust, #10 plate, DD2's, and PDR HX-35; had a PDR Hx-40 on at one time but, way to much lag at this elevation. My filter "minder" is OK doesn't show it's being pulled down now; but my question is when I put in the Mach2's, will I need a bigger air system?

I guess I could put them in and if the "minder" does move then it's time to change.

Thanks for the good thoughts anyway.
