Like my eBay style subject line so a subject search for any of those will turn this up? :)

Anyway... who knows what about Airaid filters. I've seen their MIT intake setups on their website. I also noticed they dont make one for 94-02 Diesels but only for 2003's. Kinda missing a little bit of the Dodge market there.

I've read in the 3rd Gen columns where some have refered to the filter as a K&N. But their site actually makes claims they are in fact somewhat different by design. 4 layers of medical cotton gauze with a fifth layer of synthetic material... along with the two sides of 304 SS mesh. They use the "light passing" test. Aparently the Airaid wont allow you to see light through holes as the layers totally prevent that. Thus their claim is that they may not flow as much but thats because they actually filter the air properly by not allowing it to pass through pin holes.

Dont say how much they flow however. And although they offer universal cones, they dont offer the PN for the one used on the Dodge 03 Diesel truck intake system. So I have no way of telling if the universal cone with a 4" flange will even be big enough to breath with a turbo thrown in the mix.

Im running the airaid cone filter with a 6" flange ( I made my own setup) and works great. Not a single spec gets through. I do a white glove inspection to make sure no dust passes through. I've been running this setup for about a year with no problems.
