Bad RV Tire or??

Putting on my Ride rites, comes standard with 2 separate fittings one for each. I plan to just put in a tee so I only have one valve. Is there any occasion that you have ever wanted them independent?

Only if you will ever load the truck heavy on one side, you can then level the truck by increasing ther pressure on that side. If your intent is to use these for towing then running equal pressure should be OK.

It would seem that by doing that the roll or sway characteristics of the vehicle would be degraded, As the vehicle goes around a corner the outside bag would want to compress - in this case causing it to "deflate" or push its air to the inside bag "inflating" or expanding it.

Is this correct or am I looking at it the wrong way???

Maybe this is why some people say airbages degrade the ride instead of helping?

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm getting ready to install my bags(when they arrive) and I'll be using separate controls for each bag. I thought I read somewhere in my research, that's the case. Maybe an expert will chime in.

Thought I would chime in about airbags. I picked up me new 600 last week, put riderite bags on it the other day and picked up my Lance camper today. The Lance is a 1030 and I figure fully loaded weighs about 4000lbs. Tarveled about 150 miles getting home and I was impressed. I came across I 90 in NY on cruise control at 70, then on winding county roads. The airbags are a great thing. I tried different pressures in the bags and setteled on 60lbs. Next week I will give them a real test, maybe 2000 miles or so.

Go with independent lines, helps reduce sway alot, plus you can level the truck if it's loaded more on one side.

I would go independant as well. As mentioned above, the air from one goes to the other if you don't. With the in cab gauges on my setup I can watch the pressures change by as much as 20 psi per side when I go around corners simply because of the suspention travel. At the very least put a small valve on one side that you can open to fill them and close it for driving.
