OK, I was thinking about removing the spacers from my 2500 to get a better height for my 5vr, however I have Firestone RideRite airbags and didn't think it would work after reading about 2wd/4wd differences with other bags.

Today I was looking at Summit Racing and they list the dodge RideRites as being for 2003-2008 2500/3500 2wd/4wd. So this got me thinking again about removing the spacers...

But then I had a thought on whether the 2wds have the two inch spacer or not? I assumed during all this that the 2wds didn't have the "lift block" in the rear spring packs that the 4wd version does... but now I'm not sure because I never really looked at a 2wd...

So my questions are:

Do the 2wds have the same spacer as a 4wd in the rear spring pack??

Does anyone know if the RideRites are truely universal between the 2wds and 4wds??

Thanks

If you remove the spacers you need to consider that to remove the caliper for brake work down the road you'll have to loosen the spring set to remove the bolts for the calipers... .

Take a look and you'll see what I mean...

So I guess the 2wds have the spacers like the 4wd?

If not, how do they cope with the brake caliper pin interference issue?
