2004. 5, 3500, 4x4, swb, automatic, drc race suspension, I need help in choseing a rear air bag system for the truck. This system is to be used for keeping the rear of the truck level when the bed is full (heavy).

Thank's for the input. :D

kelderman also has an active ride height control as an option with their kit that will maintain ride height as you put weight in it.

I've also got Firestones with in dash controls called Dual Air Command II. I don't know if that's the kind of system you're looking for or not. I've got some pictures in my reader's rigs if you're interested. Sweet truck BTW.

I have a KORE system on my truck. I just put the Ride Rites from Firestone on my 3500 dually. It was a very easy install. I had a set of custom bags but they were not working out. I am using them for the same reason you will be.

I tow heavy and with the levelling of the truck when empty with the system, I can tick people off in the oncoming traffic when towing as my lights pitch upwards. With the air bags I level off real nice.

I have the two valves mounted at the back between the tailgate and the Road Armor Bumper... out of the way from debris and easy to get to. I am using a 12 volt compressor for tweaking the air in each bag but I will use something bigger when I air up to about 60-70 psi when towing.

Always keep at least 5psi of air in the bags.

Scotty
