Competition Airbags

I have airbags on the truck I'm going to sled pull with; will they pop? Or should I disconnect the air line before pulling. I've seen some pullers have the back end jacked way up; they doing that with airbags?



. . I may have to take them off to mount the traction bars; but if there's a chance they'll actually help. . ?

Mark..... Are you talking about the air ride bags? If so just pump them up to 80 lbs, hook the ladder bars and hammer down.

Out here they don't allow airbags.

That's what my suspension is. I have "limiters" to install from the frame to the bump stop. So far so good.

A limiter sounds like a good idea. They're the firestone ride-rite (If I remember correctly). They mount right where the bump stop used to be. I'll have to figure out how to get one back in there.

yeah, air bags are not allowed around here. and blocking the frame (limiter) is not allowed in some classes too.



better check the rules before you decide what to do with them.
