I have had the Air Bulldog induction hood on my '98. 5 Black Sport since the beginning of last July. The looks I get with this hood are unbelieveable!

I immediately noticed an EGT drop of approximately 75 degrees F. (POST turbo) after the installation of this hood. I wish I had had the pyrometer thermocouple installed in the exhaust manifold back then... it would have been nice to have more accurate before and after data to convey to you.
Doug Hofeldt designed and produces these fine hoods. Doug can be reached at: hofedoug@ida.net (email) or (208) 232-2469 (phone).
I think you are going to find that you will need to lose the OE turbo with the 9 cm2 turbine housing in order to reduce EGTs on an enhanced engine that sees towing. You might want to call Piers at BD Diesel Performance about the HX40 Super Turbo. If interested give Piers a call at: 1-800-887-5030
