Aircard for Wireless...Dell Computer

So now that I'm on the road more than off I decide to ditch the DSL and get a Aircard for my Dell M140 that I bought last December and use Cingular. Oh wait, the normal cards won't work because the slot is different! I have to buy a $270. 00 card from Dell to make this deal work, or buy another phone (like I don't have enough) with EDGE capability and use a cable. What gives!



Anyone know something I don't know... ... . this is painful to me so far!

Dang what Dell do you have? I have an Dell Inspiron 8200 with two card slots.

Dell switched to a new card format about a year ago on most of their laptops. They also offer an internal Verizon card. The older PCMCIA cardslots are still available on some of their Latitude laptops, but it's getting harder to find.
