I have recently put an airdog on my truck. My truck is the 325 600 motor. I noticed better throttle response and better mileage. It picks up speed so much faster. I am showing better mileage by the overhead computer, I haven't calculated it by hand at this time.

I also have a TST CR box, the upperlevel's have definately shown better results with the added fuel pressure to it now. I am showing 15-16 psi now on any level. Stock to level 9-9 on the CR box.

I'm very interested in your setup. What turbo, intake, egt, boost etc are you running. I have the 600 and am to get my TST next week. Did you upgrade your transmission? With what/who's stuff?

Sorry for the stupid question, but what is an airdog? Is it a product simialr to the "Fuel Preporator" or FASS?

Ken.

O. K. - I did a little search and answered my own question. The airdog IS the Fuel Perporator. I have always thought that removal of entrained air has a lot of merit.

Sorry was out of town... put about 700 miles on the truck.

Well to answer the question on the EGT doesn't seem to have changed at all. This 2004. 5 seem to cooler then my 2000. This CR motor for me seems to be running between 600-800 according the to TST Remote. I am going to stick another gauge on to make sure this is running accurately, because i have never seen 1200 degrees with this truck, but i did frequently with my 2000 dually. Mileage and upper-levels seem alot stronger to me. I can't wait for my new tires to come in... . these stock tires don't want to hold to the pavement anymore.

My current setup is just a TST box, the airdog, straight pipe 4 inch. I have alot more sitting the corner... . waiting to put on the new clutch before i add anymore to it.

The airdog has definately added the extra fuel that i need once i added the TST box. We could pull the stock system down to 2 psi pretty easily. The airdog doesn't drop pressure no matter how hard you push it.

Will post more once other mods are in place :)

It wasn't that hard to install... getting the correct settings on the springs is the only touchy part... that is also sort of driver preference.

Certainly you mean you have never seen 1200 degrees with the TST off, right? I'm positive if you really tried out the 9-9 setting, your EGT's are through the roof in a split second... so yeah, you better check that thermocouple. :)

At this time i don't have any pictures.

But no i haven't seen 1200 degrees yet. My 2000 truck would hit this temparture extremely easy so would my friends 03, but this one doesn't seem to get nearly as hot as they do. I don't know if it is soemthing different about the Turbo or what but the readings off the TST box are not showing bad at all. When i install my pillar and put in some guages I am going to put another one in there to compare the two. I have ran 9-9 a few times but my stock clutch (i have a new one just haven't put it in yet) doesn't like it at all. It is easy to break the stock tires loose in 4th gear though.

I would definatley check your egt. I have the same vehicle and can get 1200 stock with WOT. Where did you install the egt? Pre or post turbo?

i have the standard airdog... .

like i said for the EGT, it is pre-turbo. I think it could be innacurate but at this point I am not running it super hard yet. Occaisionally stepping into but nothing where i am afraid of it getting hot. I have never ran it flat on the floor for over 1/8 mile.
