Hello all,

I may be needing to replace my lift pump & am thinking of going with Airdog. I"ve read that some of you have had issues with low fuel tank levels & the fuel pick-up line? Is this still the case, or has this issue been resolved? I'd hate to always have to have at least 1/4 tank in order not to have this problem. I'd greatly appreciate any first hand feedback.

Thanks. :)

I'm pretty sure I'm buying an Airdog 100 for my 06 soon.

I just spoke with the factory tech guy yesterday about this subject.

He said it is critical that you inst. the draw-straw at the proper distance from the bottom of the tank and slightly favor to the rear of the tank as opposed to the front in placement. (For pulling hills. )

I called them after reading their add about their new low price in the TDR#59

I installed the pickup towards the back of the tank and cut a half moon on the bottom part of the pvc tube. Then i placed the pickup in and touched the bottom of the tank with it. The half moon cut allows it to pick up the fuel at the very bottom and leave any dirt behind. So far been in the red zone on the gauge and no problem.

You can use the factory supply on the top of the tank if your stock lift pump is on the stock fuel filter. Make sure you order the correct pump as the wiring harness and supply connections are different.
