Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Hey guys - these numbers have been posted before, but I thought I would give some more info on them. I talked to Fleetguard today to get the differences in the two part numbers that were listed several months ago.
Both are fuel filters:
FF5617 - 98. 7% efficient at 10 microns
FF5587 - 98. 7% efficient at 7 microns
They're both good numbers, but Cummins Mid-South didn't even have FF5617 on their computer. They could order FF5587 and the price was less than $9. 00.
I hope that helps some folks. I'll probably go ahead and order a case of the 7 micron filter.
