AirDog impressions

I got to tow about a week ago, the first time since installing the AirDog. I noticed one thing right away, the EGTs were slightly higher pulling hills. Not much, but noticable. Tells me the AirDog is supplying plenty of fuel, and the truck is using it. Still satisfied.

Higher EGTs are a good thing???? AirDog supplies fuel????

Yes, the AirDog has an 80gph fuel pump, so you eliminate the Mickey Mouse Lift pump. Under full load at WOT EGTs are 50-100 deg higher. Conclusion : Higher EGT because more fuel is avalable to burn.
