Mod Amsoil Bypass Syst to Use Fleetguard Stratapore

anything about the new quadzilla adrenaline box?

My 97 should be in the 600+hp range with Compounds and The Big injectors and Pump mods and now I need a fuel system. The Fass is so noisy I cant stand it but I dont know much about the new Airdogs stand alone systems so. Which is best and of either brand What Model do I need to get? AirDogs seem to be on sale right now too:)

Woodsrat...

You know something we all don't know or have heard???...

The FASS systems are only warrantied for 1 year and will recieve an additional 6 years if the paperwork is properly sent in. When did they go to a lifetime warranty?????... ..... Andy

Maybe sonny boy feels the need to keep up with Daddy:-laf:-laf:-laf

My personal vote would be for the AirDog... for you the FP150, but then again I'm biased (sig)

I did hear, though, that the FASS is quieter than its original conception.

Any unit made in 2008 will carry a Lifetime Wnty. Just announced last week through our dealers. Sorry been busy up here or would have said something sooner on the forums.....

So then the rest of us who already are FASS customers are left with the previous warranty,if they followed up and sent the paperwork in like they were supposed too?..... Andy

My FASS motor just died this morning (runs slow, smells like its burning up and pops the fuse, even with the direct wiring to the battery). Ended up saying screw it and drove home with 0 (thats none) fuel pressure crossing my fingers and hoping those 1/2 inch lines (from bottom of tank to the VP) would allow enough flow through the bypass of the FASS to keep it alive. No hiccups, drove fine, time will only tell what kind of stress was put on the VP.

Not sure which direction I'm going to go from here even though this is the upgraded brushless motor under warranty, but from past experiences dealing with this company, I'm not interested in dealing with them again and am considering a different option while my truck is down this time.

I have been very impressed with the Fass products. Yes, Brad and his father were in the twilight zone for a while. It's great that they worked things out. I think on that 12 valve you will need a Fass 150/180 at 45 psi. That is a VERY good product and will suit your needs even if you want to turn up more hp. We set those up to 75-80psi all the time to run big hp (800-1200). Thanks, Brady

Brady,

When you say that Charlie and Brad worked things out, are we going to see an AirDog/FASS merger in the future, or are things staying status quo?

FYI for the thread, Dan contacted me and offered some excellent customer support. Thank You Dan/FASS!

Updated 4/24/08: Received the BRAND NEW warrantied pump on Monday and installed it last night. It's extremely quiet and got my previously set pressure back to 13. 5psi, right where the doctor ordered. It's pumping a LOT of fuel because even with the fueling box turned up, it can't hardly budge the pressure down. Tell ya one thing, when these Fass pumps are working, they're moving lots of fuel, and another thing I've proven (although I wouldn't try this test at home yourselves), it's bypass circuit worked well and allowed my VP44 to pull it's own fuel and live without any known problems at 0 psi. FWIW, FASS did back their product.

Saving the PM here, Dan, I'll have the old pump on it's way to you either tomorrow, or Monday at the latest and let you know. Thank You.
