airdog/smarty s-06

I just installed the airdog fp150, and i thought i read somewhere that you need to remove the fuse from the pump before plugging in and downloading smarty. I cant seem to find that info, does anybody have that information.

You could remove the AirDog fuse in order to download the Smarty, but it is not necessarily mandatory. What the Smarty needs is enough voltage to complete the download without interruption. Try it without removing the fuse to see if it will work for you.

Do turn off all other electrical accessories, i. e. radio, heater blower, etc.

I do it all the time, works just fine. I've done it with the phone plugged in and a few other things on

I have never had a problem with leaving it alone. . yes it runs the whole time but it never has seemed to bother anything.
