Airfilter?

I put the stock air box back on...

when my wife and I go on a trip. I have "insulated" it, which makes her side of the truck more bareable. Otherwise, BHAF.

Steve, are you refering to the loud Cummins hum at higher rpm? I was wondering if it was any less on the '03s with the airbox out in the front of the engine compartment. I kinda like the 1st gen airbox design better. The hum get alittle annoying after a few hours on the interstate.

Stock airbox, boot in the fender, and stock filter. Works fine.

I installed Ol Smokey's BHAF mount(which looks good!) and a Fleetguard filter. The problem is I still can't hear the turbo winding up. Got 25 # of boost so I know the thing is working right!



Maybe I just need more boost??

Gitch, guess it could mean a Scotty I, II or a just a bare 0880. What is the other that folks are voting for?

I’m so confused. Do I vote for AFE? But I’m sure they mean the real AFE and not the AFE for the stock replacement. So maybe I vote stock. Or maybe other. This ballot is too confusing. I’m so confused. Have I been satirical enough? Where are the voting officials, where am I …. Florida? (Sorry, couldn’t help myself. )

thats what i use with the scotty, this is very vague needs to be a little clearer, I guess i should of marked other, didnt know scotty made an air filter? I guess should have another poll with what air intake system are you using.
