Has any one experienced air in the fuel? I think I might have symtoms of air in the fuel. My truck has never in its life ran as smooth as do most diesels. So last fall I had my injectors checked out. The mechanic says they were fine. When I went to go get my truck the first the first thing I noticed was it ran smooth. After about 500 miles it started to run rough again. It starts pretty good otherwise.
Is it possible that the lift pump could allow some air into the system? Because when I prime it manually I get a little fuel on my finger. My pressure does meet spec.
A few years ago the supply line was replaced because it cracked where the sst braided line meets up with the steel line. But don't know if any rubber line were installed.
Only other erea I though was at the fuel tank. Could the pick line be bad?
I was thinking of replacing the rubber lines. What do I need? Also clamps what should I use?
I may wait. Thought this could be one of those projects at a TDR meet. Could use some to help on this one.
