I use a dually air chuck and tire gauge, and even then I did some Dremel work to get a little more clearance where the chuck goes over the valve stems. Also, on the outer wheel, I use the non-pressurized valve stem extenders like those used on cars with full wheel covers. They are about 2" long and make it a lot easier to reach. I use a length of 1/2" rubber hose to remove and install the valve caps on the inner wheels.
I had the braided metal valve stem extenders on my previous dually. They worked OK, but not really any easier than what I'm doing on my current truck as described above.
