Has anyone tried these. There was an article in the last TDR mag. and they gave a pretty good review. The only questions I have is the writer said they were $2. 00 each. I went to their web site & they quote $2. 50 each. Does anyone know where to get them for the $2. 00? And if you have them, do they work?

That is sure the truth. Meeting a big rig is not such a "mover and a shaker" as it used to be with the trailer in tow.

Hey Mr. Ramey. . There was a great thread all about the air tabs about 6 weeks ago on the site. If you do a search with "air tabs" as the subject, I bet it will come up for you. I believe that the originator of the thread was a dealer ?? He mentions some of the tests he has done and the results which he has had with the Tabs !!

yes and looking for ways to use them creatively.



I am in the process of gathering materials for a gooseneck horse trailer I plan on buildinr this winter. I will make the trailer itself "fairly" aerodynamic... . with the intended addition of a lot of airtabs to maximize the design.

I tow a 33 ft Teton Experience and the week before Muncie I install about 40 of the air tabs. The one thing I did notice was the ease with which the fiver moved. Mileage, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 mile more. As soon as I get off line I'm putting 40 more on the top and the bottom of the rear cap. Trash on the rear window was less but I just have for now, tabs on the sides. As for as movement passing trucks, I have never had a problem there to start with. I do tow with a Traileze air deflector and that helps some . If I can get my average up the 11 1/2 MPG I will be a happy man.
