I'm thinking trailer ,and "GOODYEAR" . I believe he runs the G114's[/QUOTE]

And carries DW's rocks on top of a highly Elite'd M/S 5th wheel. Ron is a load range H/J 17.5" Goodyear tire tester.

That would be the G114's H rated @4806 lbs @ 125psi.

I'm on over 3 decades of nation wide RV parks, truck stops, casinos and of course wal mart overnight. Built in Genny is a must have in my book. But, every day it's a little voice talking to ya. It's always easier to check in at the Marriott. But that freedom thing keeps calling.

No, No, No. It's not anymore. Even before sometimes hotels were filled up with some random event you never heard of or care about.

Now the Federal Government has our hotels filled with Illegal Aliens to the point the MI snowbirds across the street slept in their car on the way out here. Spring 2021 the hotels were all full up during this pandemic when people were not traveling. One hotel operator when asked even told them why they were full. Here is a non-political link about one known hotel here https://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/news/temporary-immigration-facility-in-scottsdale. You bet they were eyeing my RV before they went back to MI with the reality of sleeping in their vehicle yet again. I wouldn't be surprised to see them showing up with a new pickup and RV this time... Or at least with an RV in tow.

MAXXIS in MC Trailer as GY does not make a 13" in the ENDURANCE line.

YES it' was a GY "H" G114. 62 out running 60 and tire temp around 130. So I will be talking to the GY CA rep I have gotten to know. I will be discussing him swapping out these for their KMAX T "J" that has around 6k capacity.

I am around 4,400# on my tires but I am done with them. I check temps and tread at every single stop and had done so 1 hour before it let loose.

Did some damage to RV that they will pay for with no argument.

Wow, going from a 60 pound tire to a 75 pound tire. We know where the beef is located. Would you go with the 235/75-17.5 or the 245/70-17.5?

Same thing those Vietnam Sailuns are doing , throwing the tread . I'm considering next those new RV tires from Hankook, the H31's . Hankook has seemed to be a quality tire.

Those Goodyears shouldn't be coming apart , and neither should those Sailuns that's a pretty new tire you have . It's been a sketchy history with Goodyear ,and their RV tires . Marathons were a disaster at one time ,the G614's were also a disaster , these G114's seem to be following suit. There were a couple reports of the G114's that failed over on the Montana forum. One tire I haven't heard anything bad about is the Sailuns in 17.5 H rated .

I put a set on my 07.5 Mobile Suites and ran them for thousands of miles but since 2015 they seem to not hold up with my heavier weight. Friend has a heavy MS also he had issues with the GY's so he went with the "J" Continentals.

Well, you can't beat free that's for sure!!! But, if you join the DRV Owners Group FB page, we have a lot of 2 axle DRVs on Continental LR J HTL2s and so far, 0 failures. They are a robust tire that has stood up to everthing our group has thrown at it. They are not always easy to come by however.

Is the Speedindex of these tires high enough for your needs?
By far not every trailer/truck tire is built for 75+mph.

Most here would not tow that much weight with a pickup any where close to 75 MPH. Ron's motorcycle trailer tires are probably rated to only 65 MPH.

Maybe someone can explain this. The KMAX T is rated at 60mph. I read somewhere that rating is running with 6k on the tire and with less weight the speed rating increases??? I do tow mostly at 60 along the West Coast but when in a "FREEDOM" State such as AZ I tow 70-75 even with the MAXXIS.

Asked earlier what tire I would go with it would be the 235/75 17.5 as it is 31.5" diameter VS 30.5 G114 and 9.9" wide VS 8.8" on the G114.
