Probably less loss of deceleration performance due to torque converter being locked up better. This is one reason why I went with a G56. The exhaust brake experiences zero loss through the direct link the clutch and transmission provide.
Does the 68RFE have a history (with the current upgraded torque converter from a few years back) of slipping? It would seem that if it slipped consistently enough to affect EB performance on a regular basis.....they would be failing. Miserably.
Anybody here have similarly equipped (specifically gears and current 6.7's) trucks that has compared the EB between the two transmissions?
