As my vehicle description indicates the aisin transmission I have is the as68rc not the 69 as has been talked about before. Why the difference? I am close to the 30k mi mark so the book says I need to change the transmission fluid which I was just going to change whats in the pan and then do the full flush at 60k mi. Is the auto transmission fluid the same for both trannys? Thanks, Brett

Do a search, I've cover this, You have a 69 regardless of the dipstick markings, all Ram pickups in 2013+ have the 69 3500 and up when order is place for the Aisin.

Yes the Fluid is that same and has been relabeled ASRC Transmission Fluid and is for either the AS68 or AS69 transmission.

Thanks guys. That answers my question. I'll have more as time goes on. the new technology forces me to think more!! Thanks, Brett

The Mopar part numbers for the ASRC transmission fluid are:

Quart: 5189966AB
Gallon: 5189977AB
