AK 1st Gen spotted

I was watching the TV program Alaska State Troopers last night and there was a need for a tow truck - dead moose in fairly deep water. As the tow truck was pulling up it was clear to me that it was a 1st Gen which was confirmed when you could hear the sweet sound of a Cummins.



Anyone elce see the program?

I remember that episode. I think it was on the Seward highway if I remember right, maybe 50 - 100 miles south of Anchorage.

It's getting very rare to see 1st gens here in Anchorage anymore. My own '92 went down the Alcan with it's new owner in 2004.

I did a search

Looked for Alaska State Troopers and Tow Truck. Didn't find a 1st Gen, but did see this picture from a Seattle "Toe" Service.

i would love to live in alaska wayyyyyyyyyy more than being stuck in california. clean air, nice people, and not a friggin prius in sight. plus elk is delicious.
