alarm questions

I dropped my fob last week(batteries flew out of it), and ever since it's been an 1/2 hour ordeal to get into my truck.
Is there a reset sequence or something like that that needs to be gone through to make it sync with the truck?
I'm considering unhooking it all together, but for I know zilch about alarms.

Might just need a new remote. I see mopar ones being sold on amazon and eBay and there are aftermarket made ones too. I’d try that route myself, I don’t think programming a new one to your truck is very complicated either.

I took the batteries back out, looked at the stainless tabs, did a little tweaking on the tabs and the truck is now satisfied I am in fact me.
