July meeting

I want to come. My rig is a 24 valve. I'm just up the street. JR knows where. I'll even wash my rig, if I get time off from t he Red fishing.

I don't want to see a canner for awhile. Whoever said that this fishing was easy. It's just go, go, go! Fish,can fish, can, fillet, release etc.

Hey Pete the meeting is going to be in Wasilia... you going to drive that far?? It would be nice if you did, you need to show off that truck.



If you don't make it up I will stop by in August and say hey again. By the way, my edge box is hosed, I knew it was not righ. Getting a replacment that went in the mail today.

Hey if anybody is interested in a cap for there short bed truck let me know. I have a black one made by snug top I think. Its got a few scratches in it but can easily be filled when its painted to match your truck. $500. 00

If anyone is interested there are Drag races on Sunday... ... . I think I am going to go and run my truck. A buddy has a car he is going to race (12. 5 sec mustang with a 460) and he asked me to bring my truck. The test and tun starts at 10:00 am, and you have to have a tech inspection. He told me any road worthy car can pass, also must have a helmet and a light jacket to race. I have an extra helmet if anyone needs one .....



What do you say Puffin Smoke... wana race?? How about Clayton with his B1?? or BigDaddy_T???? or anyone else for that matter... .



Buddy told me there are never any Diesel trucks there... . lets go stomp some gassers

As of now, I don't have to work that day, and if I do I'll be home by 1700.

I have my UTE bed on now, it was a long process!!!

Still a few things to do to finish it, but at least I can drive it again.

You bet your truck im up for racing. I would like to adjust my kick down cable if we can saturday. The new Turbo messed with my shift points. It kicks down to early and whines out the engine. Ill see you saturday at freddy's.

Left to right Midnite, Speedo, JR2 (me wearing my "A man and his truck, its a beautiful thing" t-shirt), Turbo Terry, in the back is the unknown User Name guy (he has nice stacks on his truck though) , then Puffin Smoke and his girlfriend and finally on the far right BRobertoson (who was the host this time).



The guy who drives the truck bellow got a letter from the smog patrol stating that there may be some kind of problem with the engine in his truck as his truck seems to smoke quite a bit..... I would say there is no problem and you would too if you had seen the spectaular burn out he did in front of a Ford at the stop light just before this pic was taken...

Hey JR the pics look sweet. Me and James with the red truck did my stacks over this weekend like his and I bought the curved stacks. Looks and sounds alot better. Also will be gettin the Drag chip tommrow. Paid $60 +s/h and I can put the chip in myself. Its easy. Looks like a little Intel chip from a computer. When we hitting the track?

Hey Puffin Smoke, did you get that transmission cooler line replaced?

No I havent yet. I still have a slow seep. I think when I damage the threads on that check valve that maybe my slow seep now. Ive been monitoring the oil. The level hasnt really gone down but the cooler and line is still a little damp yet.

So who would be in for a meeting in Deep Creek in Aug. (maybe the 24-25th) Its not the greatest time to be there as far as weather but the Silvers will be a running and your beer stays cold with out ice I will be down there from the 14th till the 25th.
