Competition Alaska Truck Races (Last One!!)

Well, since truck night was rained out last week is anyone planning on going to the 3 Aug Test and Tune? If you paid to race on truck night it won't cost you a dime... . provided you didn't get your money back of course. So far I think it's me and AK Ram planning to attend and I may be able to get a new (still has dealer tags on) furd 6. 0 to come out and get punished.

They finally updated their page. This was posted on the AK Raceway Park web site:



”The Northern Diesel Performance Truck Series race has been re-scheduled for Wednesday, August 31st. The is the final race in the series. All those racers who came for the originally scheduled truck event on July 20th (which was rained out), & purchased a Tech Slip, should plan to return on August 31st. The Tech Slip already purchased will be honored for this re-scheduled race. Racers will still need to go through the Tech Inspection again, showing drivers license & safety gear. This race should be a lot of fun! We had 18 racers signed up, so there could be some serious competition. And anyone with a truck is welcome to come join in the fun. This will be the final Wednesday night race of the 2005 season. The Pit Gate opens at 5:00pm, test & tune runs from 6 - 8, with competition beginning at 8:00pm. Entry fees are: Test & Tune onfiltered= $25, Test & Tune & Truck Competition = $35, Spectators = $10. "

What are you going this weekend? I'm going out on Sunday. It is the year's last trophy class race and their web site says they are giving out a mega sized trophy.
