Are any other Alaskans running Amsoil? Who has the best prices? The going rate for 5W30 HDD in Fairbanks is about $8. 00/qt.

Thanks.

Lhotka,

I became a dealer ONLY to get the prices for myself, and it only cost I believe 25. 00 to become a dealer. Your orders as a dealer in Alaska are filled out of the Palmer Distrib. center.

You should be able to save approx. $2. 00 per quart.

If this does't work for you(or any other members in Alaska) just email me and I will help, although the shipping (Palmer-Cordova-Fairbanks) would eat into the savings!!

Amsoil

I did the same as you did BRobertson and if I buy a case of gallons it comes out to about $4. 50 a quart.

Once you become a dealer you can pick the stuff up from the distribution center. Saves on shipping. Don't know if you make it down to Anchorage much, but it could be an option. I used to be in Kodiak. With any luck it will be back to Juneau this summer.

Becoming a dealer sounds like a smart move. I am in Anchorage occasionally anyway so the shipping costs would not be an issue. Also I tried to get Amsoil power steering fluid recently and was told it is no longer being produced. Any warranty issues or other concerns with using synthetic auto transmission fluid?

Thanks.

I say we store it at Speedo's house, after all he is much closer to the distributor and I don't have any room... .

Any one heard from Mindnite on how he likes his injectors??
