WOW! KC Dyno Day A Great Success!!!

Lynwood Washington Hooters!

Welcome to Fall! Mr. Hansen and myself are organizing our second lunch gathering of the year. To accomodate some of the out of town folks, we are proposing to meet on Saturday, November 9. The tentative meeting place would be Mo's Sports Bar on Calgary Trail South in EDMONTON. We have not set a time yet but I imagine somewhere around 12:30 PM would be reasonable. Please feel free to stop in and shoot some diesel bull with us. Send me a PM for more information.

Regards, Marc

I have emailed as many ABC-type fellas as I can find in my notes and address book-if you didn't get one from me don't feel left out as my filing skills are poor :) ... ... . more than welcome to PM me as well or email me at -- email address removed -- if you're viewing this as a guest..... the more the merrier. Perhaps I will even have my truck cranked up by then... ... . stranger things have happened :D .

I was thinking about you as well..... but I didn't know how often you return to our fair province :) . If it's gonna work for you we would be more than happy to include you in our little luncheon-you can contact either me or Mark for the directions/time/etc... .....

Jason

I will come. Don't have to travel 450km this time though as I am in E-Town part time now. Got a couple of goodies for the rig since last time. ;)

Couple goodies... ... yeah right wink wink nudge nudge! :p Hoping to be able to sneak away unchallenged as I'm on the bottom end of the power curve now... .....

I'm in too. Jason no worries, I'll take that spot on the bottom of the power curve. I did get 275's though, couldn't wait. Alex - wheels and did you sell your downpipe? I still have a faint glimmer of hope... :)

Richard,

I will try and get those wheels pronto and bring them down for the meet & greet. The downpipe is gone though. It was cut off the truck though so it needed a welder and some fabbing in order to be used again anyway. Do you want the stock springs from my truck though? I think they are the plow springs..... but can't find my build sheet and have no idea how to tell... do you:confused:

Talked with Rich today when he was in gettin his con fe and 275`s in at our shop and he told me about the get- together. I`ve never visited this part of the web site before, so, I guess I have been missing out on a bunch of the get togethers thus far  . Oh well, I`ll try to get my a$$ to Edmonton for this one, if I can remember. Hopefully Michael can make it for this one(he`s the reason I`m part of this site) Thanx man:D

Ah, great to see all you guys chiming in! I have contacted about 6 people in Edmonton who are interested. Looks like we may have a good sized crowd. Jason or I will contact each of you as the date gets closer to pass on any details.

Marc

Man I wish I could transport(beam) myself and truck, up for this. Had a great time this summer w/ all of you. Have a great get together!!!!!

Alex, I figured the wheels were gone but good news if you still got 'em, I'll pick them up November 9. The stiffer plow springs will have 046 (passenger side) and 047 (drivers side) tags on them versus the more common 039/046 combination. I now have 046/047 (Garth "threaded" them in yesterday) and the truck rides great. No more wallowing front end over dips in the highway. You should have no problem unloading your 047 spring to someone wanting to stiffen up the frontend.

Garth, your memory needs some work. Either that or you only heard: blah blah turbo diesel register blah website blah blah blah computer blah blah blah blah cool topics, information and blah [address] blah blah... All while you were working on my truck.

Hello there Dee-how's it going in your part of the world? Snowed here over the last few days-but it's all melted away now fortunately. Supposed to be nice enough over the weekend here-hoping to get in a few rounds of golf (my newest passion!) before the snow seals off the courses... ... Hope things are going good for you down there.

My truck is currently under the knife getting ready for the meet and greet. Finally getting around to installing my PDR HX40, ATS manifold and BD brake-circumstances beyond my control have conspired to keep said items sitting in boxes in the basement until this point in time. Should have been running yesterday morning, but I'm having problems with the fitment of the oil drainback tube so I had to make a run to the city to pick up a few more things. Should be running by mid-afternoon today-few klicks for impressions, then hopefully by mid-week I'll have my other set of injectors installed and the truck sent back to the dealership to get a new lift pump, steering box and a couple other things addressed. This is the plan anyways... ... subject to change without notice!

Scott is coming for sure from beautiful downtown Fort Qu'Appelle SK-sounds like PushRod is gonna try to come as well. Should be a fun afternoon-Edmonton won't have any idea what hit them!

Hey Alex-what's up? Got your phone message but it kinda slipped my mind until just about now  ... ... . Yes, my turbo, manifold, brake and injectors are on. No WOT testing yet as I have a fuel supply issue-apparently the supply line to the lift pump is kinked so I'm waiting for another one. I suspect the lift pump is FUBAR as well-we will see after the line is installed I guess. So far so good though-I can't tell a difference in part throttle spoolup between the stocker and Piers' 40 even with the 275's still in place. By the big lunch meeting I should have the rest of the kinks worked out including my new tires mounted up and life should be relatively good again... ... .

Looking forward to seeing you there!
