So how does Pacific Pride work?

Carded for buying Power service additive

Yesterday a fire broke out in the bosque along the Rio Grande River in the south valley of Albuquerque. Details on last nights news stated the fire started in a shop where " a type of diesel fuel was being manufactured from grease". One officer was stating that there was a very suspicious device on the premises with flammable components, making it sound as if these guys were linked to Al-Qaida. There were comments made also about welding in the shop so that was probably the spark that started it all off. Isn't it ethanol that is used to cut in with the oil to make the mix?

Burned around 80 acres and there were lots of people and livestock evacuated. It took the help of 3 helicopters to knock it down. It is just a tinderbox here right now.

So that's what the deal was. We were headed there to do touch and go's and had to devert to Roswell to do our work as the smoke was affecting the runway.

That is one of my issues with homemade biodiesel. Most folks don't get it that methanol used in a open container is asking for trouble. A standard shop or garage is not electrically classified for flammable liquids. Throw in welding and its not surprising they had a fire.

Update while driving to work this morning. Radio stating that it was a metal grinder in the weld shop. Property owners booked during the investigation. DJ's were running with the story when there were comments about it being a sophisticated lab. Right away the media puts a spin on it and turns it into a suspected meth lab.
