Alcan and Credit Cards?

A thought just occurred to me this morning. I use a credit card to fuel my truck. When I head north for Alaska do the diesel stations take credit cards, if so does one get ripped off by the currency difference, or is it better to take traveler's checks???

They all take cards and the card company does the exchange rate for you.

I always stop at a bank (usually in Whitehorse at this end of the hwy) and exchange some US bills for Can. cash so I can eat along the way without worrying about the exchange rate!!

Flatbed installed. Whew, welding that sucker with the tool boxes on was a challenge in contorsionism. Let's do the limbo, yeh! Thank God for leather welding jackets and new holes in my coveralls. Wrapped the fuel tank in fire shelter material and metal signs, with a fire extinguisher beside the truck.



Finish the wiring, load the "shack", and it's north to AK. Come on sunshine!
