Alcoa 16X7 Rim Recalled for cracking

I have a 97 2500 CC 4X4 and just found some MAJOR cracking around the outside of the spokes on my Alcoa LTS 16 X 7 " 5 stars. Started with a major vibration,and is now cracked through on all 5 spokes. These started in a hurry,as I just polished them about a month ago,and no cracks were present. If you have a set,check them out. Found there is a recall on these wheels and replacement is free,including shipping (inc return) and all mounting and balancing. These wheels must be replaced,even if they are not cracked at the present time. I just gave them a call and they UPS shipped them the next day,right to my door. After they are installed,just call them back up and they will send you a check to cover all costs. Great customer service,no waiting on hold,and no downtime for the truck. The old wheels are model #167011,and are replaced with a modified design that is much beefier. Just thought I let everyone else know,as I saw an earlier archived post regarding these cracks. Just an update

I have recieved a few e-mails regarding this post and have found out there are other Alcoa rims covered by recalls. Might be worth checking www.alcoawheels.com if you have ANY Alcoa wheels.
