I recently purchased new upper and lower Carli ball joints, Dynatrac hubs, Carli adjustable track bar, drop pitman arm and 08. 5 steering and Carli stabilzer from 8 Lug Truck Gear. They were lots of help and very patient with me. I also purchased a Carli drop bracket for my track bar. My truck has a POS 6" Tuff Country lift on it and before replacing all of the parts above I had zero death wobble. Yesterday I almost lost complete control of my truck and have never been so afraid of a vehicle in my life. I went over a depression in the road that I have crossed hundreds of times before with no problems whatsoever and then the truck started hopping and going all over the place!!

I took it to one alignment shop and they "aligned" it. It was kind of a small place and they said they could do it but obviously they can't. From what I have read here on TDR it looks like I need 4. 5* caster with no more than 0. 5* degrees difference. It also looks like the right side needs to be more than the left. Toe should be 0 to -0. 25*

I would really appreciate some help. I have a new daughter on the way and there is NO WAY I'm taking here home in my truck the way it is now

I see you have had a lot of views and no replies. You need to find a off road shop or someone whom specializes in alignments on 4x4 trucks. There is a lot of things that can go wrong when you mix and match parts.

Thank you for the reply!! I will try and find a specialty shop in the Missouri area.

One thing I am confused about is the adjustable track bar length. I have read that 39 1/8 is the magical number but that length is what gave me the horrible death wobble. I lengthened it to almost 39 1/2 which effectively centered the axles under the truck and back the the alignment shop it went. All the meanwhile we had a baby today so hopefully when I pick my truck up in a couple days it is better. I think I will still find a specialty shop. By the way, I am open to suggestions... .

The track bar length shouldn't affect DW, a loose track bar will and If the axle is centered then you coil bucket will hit the track bar bracket at full compression, I would figure what is loose. If your taking it to some fancy computer alignment place with a high school reject running it they will be no help. Are you sure the stabilizer has nitrogen in it?
