My 2005 has a drift to the right if you let go of the wheel. Also both front tires show considerable wear on the out side of tire per se, when compared to the center or inside. The right tire substantially more so than the left, which definitely tells me it’s alignment issue and not cornering getting on the freeway, as the right wheels always get the weight-shift. Anyhow I suspect this means my front or right ball joint is shot? I was thinking about taking the truck in to the Dodge dealer this up-coming week and asking for a tire rotation and Alignment job. I figure if they can’t align it they will have to replace the joints anyhow right? Or would they just get it as close as possible and hand me the truck back? Also my truck is an ‘05 so my 7/70 factory warranty should cover this right? Everything but the actual alignment fee.....

I bent my lower control arm when I ran off in a ditch at the golf course :-laf

All I could do was laugh at how crappy it was...

and the warrenty wouldnt pay for it :D

Sorry Bro, no warrenty on this issue as I read it. Best bet it to have it done by the dealership in my book. They have the most update specs normally. Now I know others will have other things to say and everybody has there favorite shop and such.

If you have to pay for it, don't take it to the dealer. They will rip you off. Check around for the best independent wheel alignment shop in town. It happened to me with a dealer on my 95. They also tried to put new brakes and a serpentine belt, which were not needed and I didn't let them do. I reported them to the Dealer himself, which I'm sure did no good.

As far as getting the truck aligned, the dealer usually has really good equipment..... but as far as parts go, they will get you on price. The bad part is you may not have a choice on some things, I went to get U-joints for my 05 and all the autoparts stores said my truck was too new for parts

Like on my bent control arm they wanted $600. I can buy a Skyjacker 2" lift kit with shocks, springs, and lower control arms for that  ... ... and I bet they wont bend when I fall off in a little hole.
