I've been here 18 years. Watched the forum grow with great people in the beginning. They all left, disheartened, as did I. Sometimes we got together and even formed another site for a while. It was good but people had lives to live and we drifted apart. Some even bought chevys!
After a long hiatus, the TDR admin asked me to return. Things weren't any better.
Cerb and John, you have lots of answers but are too arrogant to learn anything from any one else or simply admit when you don't know something and you set an ugly tone here. Even when you agree with someone elses answer, you always have to weigh in - as if to bless it. Worse than that, you get but hurt when anyone posts something you don't know or can't comprehend. Often, you're so threatened by anyone else posting in this section that you have to disparage, bully or just pick apart their posts until you're satisifed no one will glean anything from them (and I'm certainly not just talking about any one recent post). Bob, you're not as bad but you can't help but pile it on after them - like the kid brother chasing after, constantly seeking approval. Between you guys, you set the tone here. There's no sense of team here, it's just not a friendly place to be and that's probably why this forum has so little activity when other, younger forums have prospered.
So I'm done (I wont come back to this thread either). I've said my piece, stopped notifications and deleted my details so as not to clutter things up.
To everyone on this forum, I thank you very much for information you've shared and even more so for the camaradery - the real reason I hung around.
Sorry if this stank of drama but after all this time it was kind of a big deal to me.
I wish everyone of you guys the best and hope life is good to you.
Peace,
Scott
