Just got done driving my truck on a 30 mile test drive to find out that my high rpm cut-out/stumble is CURED.
Medicine ordered and administered: Blue Chip Special X VP44.
This was after 3 e-mails and a phone call to Chip during the last 4-5 months trying to diagnose/cure my issue. He said from the get-go that it'd be the pump. Ofcourse, I wanted to doubt him and my gut feeling because of the price tag.
This engine hasn't ran this good since I completed the conversion 2 years ago. It actually runs better than it did before with the "new" MWFI pump and Smarty on setting 5.
Lots of low end torque and I can get to redline without it cutting out. I can't express enough that if you're in the need/market for a new VP44, DEFINATELY go with Chip. You get what you pay for.
