All those E-mail msgs???

About everytime I post a reply, the next day I get an E-mail msg telling me someone else has posted to that topic.

How can I avoid all those E-mail msgs???

when you post a topic at the bottom of yhe screen there is a list of questions and one is do you wish to be notified when someone replys to this topic.



check NO!

Even better......

Goto "User CP". Select "Edit Options". Scroll down to the 2nd catagory "Messaging and Notification". Select "no" on the Use Email Notification by default. Submit it.



Your done, no more emails unless you check the lil box that Bob is refering to when you post. By "Default" now it will be unchecked.



You can also select "No" for the email you get when you recieve a private message.

Go to edit option in the user cp and you can set the default to "no" for the email notification feature.

Thanks for the help, and for the consideration of those of us who are computer challenced.

I still think of a cordless phone as a new gimmick and now I hear talk of something called a "cell phone"; the dirtbags I used to send of to a cell sure never had phones in their cells; They probably do now, yea, that must be what they mean by cell phone.
