As you well know some fuel distibutors winterize their fuel by mixing #2 with #1 diesel which typically results in less power and lower mileage. Some do it by running #2 year round and simply putting in additives to lower gel point. It is worth asking where you buy fuel which method they use.

Why not ask? As long as they can speak English or look like they can talk intelligently about it. I add PS regardless.
