Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Went to one of my first classes today and gave a kid I know in there a bunch of crap about his Nissan Maxima rice-turd. I saw he put gauges in this summer and wanted to know if he'd turboed it or not... sure enough, he hadn't, but does have NO2 on it now. Asked if it was fast and the quick reply was "Yeah, it's fast... I run 14. 2's" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I about fell out of my chair laughing at him and told him I'd play with him some time later this year.
He procceded to tell me, knowing about my Cummins, that some guy was at the track in Phoenix when he was there in a 3rd Gen CTD, lifted (he might just think this cause of the way it sat), 4x4, and he ran, now get this, a 10. 0 second 1/4 mile, AND he launched in 4x4!
He then went on to make the sound of the guy staging and the turbo spooling... LOL... had me rolling all over the place laughing at him.
So, who was it, and what'd you really run? I thought maybe Fred from Desert Diesel, but his is a 3500 and he said it wasn't a dually... maybe it was a 2nd gen and he doesn't know any better?
Got a chuckle out of me for the day.
