SA Law,

Darn it! #ad
I gotta have the 4. 10's to get a 21,500 GCVWR (14,700 trailer tow rating). The 3. 54's only give me a 20,000 GCVWR (13,200 trailer tow rating). We pull a 13,500 GVWR 5ver, and even though we always pull with empty tanks so the weight never approaches 13,500 lbs, one of the reasons for the new truck is to get "legal" as our current truck has a 19,000 GCVWR and 13,200 trailer tow rating.

As a law enforcement officer, you know what our situation would be when the lawyers got through with us if we were ever in an accident - even one that wasn't our fault..... #ad

Now, if I could only swap a 4. 10 rear axle into that truck and get DaimlerChrysler to "recertify" it, I'd be in business. #ad

SA Law, thanks for your help - I really appreciate it!
