Almost Didnt Make It Home In One Piece From Irp

Well Sunday on the way home from IRP with Woodsrat, Holysmokes, and one other from Zanesville right outside of columbus I ran into a problem. Coming down the left hand lane on 70 east bound cranking along really well out of now where my right front wheel locked up pulling me hard into the middle lane nearly missing a ford escort wagon, the wheel broke loose and was able to make it off the road and limp it to the exit. So about 60 miles from the house and none of knowing anybody in the area with a trailer big enough for the truck, I loaded up with woodsrat and headed to zanesville to grab the trailer. Three hours later the truck is home and waiting for me to tear it down. Today after work, I started to tear it down and I soon found the problem which I had already figured the wheel bearing went out, I had welded the outer bearing to the locking nut's and spindle, with air hammer in had I broke the spindle nut's loose and got them off but the hub was a diffrent story after an hour and a half of beating on it with a 10# slide hammer and it not moving at all, even with heat so with running out of light I gave up, I will have pic's of the carnage soon .

Good thing you're ok and you didn't hit the wall or another vehicle. I missed you at IRP, seen your truck on the dyno while I was in the stands though. Whats with the lil guy numbers Mr. P-pump ? Did you have ice in the cooler? Did it spool good on the dyno? fwiw, mine hit 38psi on dyno, same as on street.

From the looks of the amount of smoke his truck blows, it's not difficult to see he has fuel. Perhaps his engine isn't using it to make power. That's why I like the VE. They make more power with less fuel, acording to that mike guy up there in Idaho What does he call them ... . ???..... VE = Very Efficient.

the water cooler wasnt working, I didnt have it hooked up I'm not worried about the number right now, waiting to get on a loading dyno to see what kind of power it's really making but regaurdless next year the number will be higher... a new set up has been planed for about a month now just needing that green stuff.



As for the flame going to mess with the timing and see what happens
