Continued from found on road dead yesterday. Picked up from dealer today after they installed a new dpf ... . pretty fast service . . and they did give me a loaner. I was adamant that I was not going to be happy unless they could tell me what caused it to get "full" without any prior warnings other than approx. 2-3 minutes . After an addtional hour of waiting for an answer I finally left with no excuse. I live 65 miles from my dealer and almost half way home the truck started running goofy ... . exactly like a gasser spitting back through a carburetor. Turned my little skippy _ _ _ right back around and returned to the daler and the mech. rode w/ me and observed the problem w/ no cel and was dumbfounded ... . mech. then took the owner of the dealership for a ride and he couldn't make it do it but the cel came on. The owner assured me they will put an entire new stock exh. on the truck and if that doesn'tfix it he'll put a new turbo on it.
If these people weren't so nice I would . . wait 10 years ago I would have really showed my _ _ _ . Trust me gaining this much patience has been painful but the older I get the easier it is and you really do see the benefits. They're just no as quick as you would like. At this point in time I also have other things on my mind other than this silly truck.
