I went out to this off road spot used mostly by jeeps, I was itchin to get my truck off road for once, and my friend just bought a 2000 Tundra and he wanted some too. So we were climbing these huge hills probably went up about 1000ft or so and my check gauges light came on! I looked over at the temp gauge and it was close to red, I got out and poped the hood and let it idle, the temp eventually dropped back down to normal after a few minutes. I have an Edge Comp (on setting 2) and Trans temp, fuel psi, boost, EGT gauges. All other readings were fine. The climb was always slow and boost never really went above 8 psi. Was it because of the Edge Comp? Should I have turned it off? It was pretty scary we were wayyy up the mountain and we werent exactly supposed to be up there
Any thoughts?
