Question for all of you Alpenlite owners out there. Have you found any place that is good with stocking any Alpenlite Parts?

What kind of parts are you looking for? Most RVs all use the same components and appliances and most of the trailer parts can either be made found at a RV salvage yard. Also, there are sellers that specialize in parts for "orphan" RVs.

As Bill said above, appliances, axle assemblies, hitches, and electrical components are all standard RV/trailer items shared throughout the industry. Small items like door pulls and hardware are purchased from trade catalogs. Side sheets are often but not always standard stock cut to fit. Rolled rubber or sheet aluminum roofs are cut to fit from standard stock. Molded fiberglas end caps are one of the few components that make each RV unique.

I am purchasing a 2005 Alpenlite Augusta 32RL and wanted to make sure what choices I have for parts. Sounds like its not going to be any problems per the feedback here. I need to check out on where these salvage yards are as I have never seen a trailer salvage yard here in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Thanks again for the replies.

I wouldn't worry too much about buying a used Alpenlite fifth wheel. Other than the front and rear caps, you should be able to find anything you might need. I don't know of any RV salvage yards in the DFW area, but at one time I had a list of some in the mid-west. You might check with the folks at North Dallas RV. They do quite a bit of service work on all brands and ages of travel trailers and fifth wheels.

Colaw RV Salvage is on I-44 in southwest MO near Joplin. It is a huge operation with hundreds of wrecked travel trailers and burned motorhomes. (Notice the different RV products, different casualties?) Colaw has a website. I don't think they were hit by the tornado that hit Joplin.

Decals

I would like to locate the decals for the front cap as they are worn and starting to show some age. The front cap has a decal Alpenlite and graphics underneath it. If anyone knows where I can find these please let me know.

Thanks, Ron

Normally the unique decals with brand logos can only be obtained from the manufacturer or their original supplier. If that's not possible a local graphics retailer in your location may be able to photocopy and replicate your decals but unless you have an original brochure or advertising copy as a sample for the colors and detail the graphic shop can only duplicate the deteriorated decals.

Better Than Factory

RV Stripes This place does fantastic work. And They mite have your decals on computer They use a 3M product far superior to the factory tape. If they have your decal on file its just a matter of ordering it. If not they have a computer program that if you send the pic. of yours and the Horizontal and vertical dimensions they can just about get it rite on . They did mine as the sun in So Calif just fried the front one. And they had the decal on file didnt even have to take trailer down to show them. Great place hope it works out .

I have sent out several emails to the OLD Alpenlite dealers to see if they would have any... have not heard back. BigNasty I just sent RVSTRIPES an email to see what they could do. I was hoping to find some Alpenlite stock somewhere that I could get my hands on... . Thanks for all the feedback. I also hope to find maybe an Alpenlite owner or two that could put me onto someone.

For body and trim parts I found this gold mine for Alpenlite: Sierra Engineering Company https://www.rvpartssierra.com. Pelland Enterprises has these hard to find trim panels but they are 4X the cost. The panels are made of fiberglass which is superior to the poor quality plastic that Alpenlite used. Amack's RV in Woodland, CA www.amacksrvs.com can also help with body parts for the Alpenlites.
